Black Sheep Cloudwool Lan (BS-COT-1-UD) is manufactured in Lancashire in the UK using naturally dark wool from Black Welsh Mountain Sheep, and incorporates a very fine woven interlayer of pure organic cotton.
This quality is our most economical lightweight version of Cloudwool, with prices for production starting from £7.20/m.
Please note this quality is also available in white wool and can be subsequently dyed to a colour of your choice. For more information please enquire.

Pilling Update 2022:
Doppelhaus Ltd are currently working on a breakthrough to improve the pilling performance of Cloudwool which should be ready in time for Autumn/Winter 2023 collections.
Current trials demonstrate that a 2 at 2000 or 5000 rotations can be improved to a 4 with little additional cost.

Prices below are per running metre (at 150cm width) excluding VAT. For orders over 1000 metres, fabric width can be specified and a m2 price can be calculated on application.
